  1. Orders, Shipping and Fulfillment

Placing an Order

Orders will be placed via email from our inventory management system: Stocky. At this time, we can no longer accommodate different ordering system from each of our brands. We find this system efficient, fast and reliable.

The Brand is not involved in the actual transaction between the Locale and its retailer or the retailer and the customer.  The Brand is not the agent of either Locale, any of its retailers or customers.

Brands must ship orders received from Locale Beauty within 3-5 days of reception of order.

All shipments must be sent by a track-able/traceable method. A tracking number is to be provided via email to Locale at

At the time of their delivery, all Products shall be of merchantable quality so that they may pass in trade without objection. The Brand shall replace any defective Products and shall supply any missing part for any of the Products upon proof of damage from customer.

Defective Merchandise

Shipments from Brand shall be securely and safely packed in cartons, boxes, envelopes or other containers affording reasonable protection to the Products contained therein against the elements and other risks of damage, loss or theft normally incidental to the shipment of Products of the type or kind being shipped. The Brand shall bear all risks of loss, damage or deterioration of the Products during shipment until delivery.  We strongly recommend the use of 72-96 hours heat pack during the colder months of winter.

In the event Locale receives damaged Products or does not receive shipped Products from the Brand, it shall immediately report the loss or damage to the Brand via its website, referencing the original purchase order number. Within 5 business days of receiving the damage product report, the Brand shall re-ship replacement product and the terms described herein above shall apply to all re-shipped orders.

If Brand cannot ship product within 3-5 business days, they must notify Locale via email at: of this delay, at which time Locale may, at its sole discretion, cancel the delayed Product.

The Brand agrees to abide by and fully adhere to the terms of Locale‘s return policy as documented at Retailer Handbook

The Brand shall credit Locale’s invoice in the amount Locale paid to the Brand for approved returned Product(s) in the same month Locale provides the Brand the return statement.

Testers and Samples

We recommend you have an advantageous tester policy in place which will allow retailers to sample products to customers. Branded samples of products should be provided with each order. In our experience, this can exponentiate the sales of your products.

  1. Billing and Payment
The Brand shall invoice Locale individually for each order it receives from them. Monthly, the Brand shall send a statement to Locale summarizing each invoice shipped in the previous month, documenting the total of all invoices less any credits.  Locale shall remit the monthly statement payment in full to the Brand by direct transfer into the Brand’s bank account within fifteen (15) days of the statement date.  The Brand shall provide Locale with a void cheque for this purpose, concurrently with signing this Agreement.
  1. Price

The Brand must set a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) on all Products for all of its online retailers, vendors and dealers and to customers on its own website. It is expected that all of the Brand’s retailers, vendors, and dealers, including the Brand, are NOT to sell the Products to end user customers for lower than the MAP.  The Brand retains the right to refuse sales to repeat offending retailers, vendors, or dealers who breach this term. The Brand may change the MAP from time to time and shall provide thirty (30) days written notice of any price changes to Locale so that it can adjust its sales and marketing strategy.

It is understood that sales directly by the Brand may happen from time to time. Locale should be made aware of such sales in advance and given the option to participate in the form of extra discounts for its customers (at the same level or better) so that it can remain competitive in the market.

The Brand must not sell or offer to sell to another customer or prospective customer the same products for a lower price than the price provided to Locale. This allows Locale to guarantee best wholesale prices to its retail pratners. In the event that Locale becomes aware of such transaction, the price to be paid by Locale for the Products delivered shall be automatically lowered to that lower price, effective retroactively from the date on which that price was first quoted to the other customer or prospective customer.
